We’d like to take a moment to sincerely thank Kay Curtin, President of the Youghal Chamber of Tourism and Development, along with her daughter Alison, for so proudly representing the town of Youghal during a very important visit to Ireland by the French Mayoral Delegation from the twelve Breton communes connected to the Celtic Interconnector project in France on Wednesday 4th June 2025, held at Irish Distillers, Midleton, Co Cork.

This visit, hosted by Celtic Interconnector partners EirGrid and Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE), was a key moment in building strong links between our communities as part of this major European project.
Kay’s attendance meant that Youghal had a strong and positive presence at the event, and her dedication helped highlight the Chambers active role in regional cooperation, tourism, and development.
