Following the success of our 2022 and 2024 events, we’re thrilled to welcome swimmers of all levels back to the beautiful shores of Claycastle, Youghal for Youghal Swim Fest 2025!

Date: Saturday, 16th August 2025
Location: Claycastle Beach, Youghal
Whether you’re a first-time open water swimmer or a seasoned competitor, join us for a celebration of swimming, sea, and community.

🌊 Event Options

Choose your swim:

• 🏅 500m Participation Swim – Perfect for beginners or those new to open water
• 🏊‍♂️ 1km Competitive Swim
• 🏊 2km Competitive Swim
• 🏊‍♀️ 3.8km Competitive Swim – A true endurance challenge!

This is both a competitive and participation event – there’s a place for everyone in the water.

🎁 All Participants Receive:

• A silicone swim hat
• A Swim Fest t-shirt (generously sponsored by Aqualine)
• A finisher’s medal to celebrate your achievement!

📝 Important Info – Before You Book:

• All swimmers must be aged 16+
• You must be able to swim the full distance of your chosen event
• Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult throughout (except when in the water)
• Tow floats are recommended for all swimmers
• Wetsuit and non-wetsuit swimmers are welcome – Please indicate your category on registration
• Event timings may vary on the day due to weather and tide conditions
