Youghal4All are busy finalising preparations for this years Moby Dick Festival which takes place on the June Bank Holiday weekend. This very popular event has in the past attracted several thousand visitors to Youghal during the Festival weekend. 

The Moby Dick Festival commemorates the making of the classic film Moby Dick in Youghal during the summer of 1954.

Many events will take place on and around Nealons Quay over the June Bank Holiday Weekend and will run from Friday 2nd June to Sunday June 4th. This is a family fun weekend with lots of activities for families to enjoy.  

On Friday night there will be a fancy dress, amusements, free barbeque and Live Music by The Elvis Experience.

On Saturday there will be Market stalls, amusements, crab competition, crazy golf, treasure hunt, arts and crafts, drumming classes, puppet show, magic, social dancing with music by Finbarr Dennehy, karaoke with Tommy Coppinger, and Live Music and entertainment by Local Man Art Supple.

On Sunday there will be Market stalls, amusements, fun and games on the Mall Beach with Live Music by The Irish Weavers. In greenpark there will be a dog show, teddy bears picnic, rock painting and Music by DJ Ger.
