Clarenbridge Garden Centre was set up in 2004 by David Farragher, a graduate of Kildaltan Horticultural College in Co. Kilkenny.
Gardening was in David’s blood since childhood, when David’s grandfather – Tim Power introduced David to gardening at the tender age of 5, at his railway cottage garden in Athenry (Galway) and there the love of gardening began.
David pursued this love of gardening, making it his career and eventually setting up his very own garden centre in the picturesque village of Clarenbridge in County Galway. The garden centre has expanded over the past ten years and now stocks all things gardening related.
Clarenbridge Garden Centre is very much a family orientated business with both David’s mother Kathleen and David’s brother Kieran heavily involved in the day to day running of the business.
Kieran joined the team in 2010 and now heads up the very successful landscaping side of the business.
