St Patrick’s Day Parade 2024

Youghal4All are busy organising this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade which will take place at 3pm on
March 17th with plans for the event well underway.

The Theme for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Youghal goes Green and not just for St. Patricks
Day. If you are considering entering your business sporting club or organisation this year, we would
ask that you keep this theme in mind.  Colourful floats, banners, music, and costumes are
particularly welcome. 

Our Grand Marshall this year is Ken Brookes, and our MC once again is Tommy Collins. Our judges
this year are Rev Andrew Orr and Karen Farrell. If you are not participating in the Parade this year,
why not come out and support us on the day.

Please note the Parade will assemble on the Breton Road from the roundabout at 2pm and will
begin at 3pm sharp. The Parade route will go down the Back Street, turning up on to the Main Street
and will pass the viewing stand at the Post Office on route to its destination at Dolphin Square. The
Prize giving will take place immediately afterwards at Dolphin Square.

To help offset costs we are asking participants to make a recommended donation of €25.00. All
groups and individuals must have their own insurance that covers them taking part in the parade.
There are no exceptions to this. Closing date for receipt of entries is March 10 th .
